Join Us for La Terre Farms
First Annual Flower Festival

The First Annual Flower Festival brings together art, wellness, music, and regional flavors for an unforgettable spring celebration.

 

Location: 11095 Road 514 (one mile east of 603 off Firetower Road), Kiln, MS

Date: Saturday & Sunday, April 18th & 19th, 2026. 8am-8pm

Fee: $10 per car covers parking and admission for all in vehicle for that day — it pays to carpool!

Partners: Walter Anderson Museum of Art (WAMA) and Arts Hancock County

 

This is a chance to slow down, breathe deep, and reconnect with nature and community. Whether you're picking flowers with your family, walking our trails, or picnicking while listening to live music under century-old oaks, you'll find your own perfect way to celebrate spring at La Terre.

 

This is a family-friendly event with activities for all ages. Classes, workshops, u-picks, will be available for purchase on-site. The 5k and farm-to-table dinner will require pre-registration.

Nature & Wellness

U-Pick Flower Fields - Create your own hand-picked bouquet to take home

Active Adventures - 5K "Run a Country Mile" and 1-Mile Fun Run put on by Bay St Louis Running Club (separate registration will be coming soon)

Walks- Guided trail walks and bird watching

Art in Nature - Plein air painting areas and classes for artists of all levels (class/workshop fees may apply)

Sunset Wellness- Yoga and sound bath as the day winds down (by donation)

Floral Design Workshops - Learn from expert designers using farm-fresh blooms and foraged materials

Farm Tours - Explore our 500 acres and discover how we grow

Native Plant Identification - Educational presentations on Mississippi's native flora

Plant Sale - Take home your favorites to grow

 

Food & Flavor

Edible Flower Demonstrations - Local chefs show you how to incorporate flowers into your cooking

Farm-to-Table Dinner - An intimate dining experience in our gardens (separate ticketing required)

Food Trucks & Coffee - Regional favorites and local roasters

Picnic Areas - Bring a blanket, your own food & beverages, and make a day of it

 

Arts, Crafts & Music

Artist Vendor Market - Discover handmade crafts and original art from regional makers 

Budding Young Artists - Kids (8-18) art show and sale

Music Under the Oaks - Enjoy performances throughout the weekend under the oaks
