About the event
Local artist Christy Hatcher will be on site leading Plein Air Botanical Sketching - Producing a Beautiful Journal. The artist will be sketching directly from nature to capture authentic light and atmosphere in a challenging, fast-paced creative process. Come watch creativity bloom!
Participants should bring their own art supplies and wear walking shoes.
Christina Hatcher is from the MS Gulf Coast Pascagoula. She started with drawing at a very young age, and when she was a teenager, she explored oil paints, pen and ink, and pastels. In more recent years, she has further developed her skills using other various mediums. She currently enjoys displaying work wherever she can and teaching a Neurographics Drawing class. Plein air has also become a favorite new skill during downtime.
