About the event
Local artist Beth Ann MacDonald will lead fellow artists in an immersive plein air painting experience. Paint directly from nature to capture authentic light and atmosphere in a challenging, fast-paced creative process.
She will be working in multi-media.
Participants should bring their own art supplies and wear walking shoes.
Beth Ann MacDonald is a Southern artist focusing on the Natural world. She belongs to many South Mississippi Art organizations. Beth Ann enjoys "Plein Air" painting outside in the landscapes she loves. Beth Ann received a B.S. and M.S. in Wildlife Management from LSU and has worked for the US Dept of Agriculture for over 25 years. She has focused on Soft Pastels in the past year but also favors watercolors, acrylics, oils, and pen and ink.
