Harvest & Bloom: Autumn Centerpiece Workshop

Discover the art of creating with nature in this immersive workshop led by Martha Whitney Butler, AIFD, of The French Potager in Bay Saint Louis, and Sophia Forstall, Certified Louisiana Native Plant Professional and Clinical Herbalist of Soma Remedies.

Students will begin with a guided foraging walk through the grounds of La Terre Farm, where Sophia will introduce participants to native plants and natural materials, sharing insight on which elements can be cut, dried, and used for long-lasting designs. Returning from the field, you’ll work alongside Martha to design a seasonal centerpiece in a wooden dough bowl, applying the principles and elements of floral design to create a piece that can be refreshed with new finds as autumn unfolds.
