About the event
Local artists Christy Hatcher and Beth Ann MacDonald will lead fellow artists in an immersive plein air painting experience. Paint directly from nature to capture authentic light and atmosphere in a challenging, fast-paced creative process.
Participants should bring their own art supplies and wear walking shoes.
Christina Hatcher is from the MS Gulf Coast Pascagoula. She started with drawing at a very young age, and when she was a teenager, she explored oil paints, pen and ink, and pastels. In more recent years, she has further developed her skills using other various mediums. She currently enjoys displaying work wherever she can and teaching a Neurographics Drawing class. Plein air has also become a favorite new skill during downtime.
Beth Ann MacDonald is a Southern artist focusing on the Natural world. She belongs to many South Mississippi Art organizations. Beth Ann enjoys "Plein Air" painting outside in the landscapes she loves. …
